It was very educational for me as a mother to let my daughter aged 7 participate the summer Kenshusei program 2024 and be at the Dojo all day long – plus one night. I was worried a lot about nutrition, and I was very tense for the Friday night sleepover. She hadn't parted from us for the night but was already ready and it was the right environment for a first similar experience. I wondered if she’d survive the night and how her fear of the dark might play out. But she was calm, happy and coped surprisingly well. Now I am calm that when she starts school and participates in any future camps or in green school, it will not be her first time, and she will accept it calmly and positively. I am very proud of her - and of myself. We did it! Thanks to Yanitsa Sensei, who listened to my concerns and encouraged me not to overprotect my daughter. She liked every bit of the program very much. It was really great how Yanitsa Sensei invented so many various activities plus involving different teachers to contribute and play as one team focused on creating special magical learning experience for the group of kids – and their parents. I wish I was a child between 6 and 10 years old to participate such an experience!"
