Milena – mother of Ema and Ivan, aged 10 and 15

Since I was a child, I wanted to train in Aikido, but when I was a child it wasn’t that common. And then, when I had my own children Aikido found me again. I decided to enrol my children because I have always felt that the Aikido philosophy educates our perception of life in the best way. Family Aikido, gave me the opportunity to fulfil my childhood dream. This is how synchronicity brought Aikido back into my life in 2019 when my daughter was 4 years old and my son was 7 years old
The most valuable thing about Aikido training is that you learn to look at life differently. You learn to look within yourself, to reinvent yourself and to change your perception of people and things that surround you. These are valuable lessons that Sensei Yanitsa teaches to children in a clear and easy to understand way. Thanks to her extensive experience and psychology background, she manages to steer the children in a direction that makes them more confident, more stable and more successful. She teaches them how to manage their emotions. This process happens quite naturally, because Sensei Yanitsa is the personification of a wise child who passes on her experience to children in an extraordinary way.
